Data Sheets and Certifications
Effective performance certified by the Quebec Department of Sustainable Development
In 2002, Dagua became the first Canadian company to receive a certification from the Quebec Department of Sustainable Development for its new drinking water treatment technology. After several pilot projects on exceptionally hard-to-treat water and following independent assessments required by the government, Dagua now has five certifications to its name. These certifications are yet another Quebec first in drinking water treatment for Dagua!
The official performance results for the DaguaFlo-UMF and DaguaFlo-IV solutions, approved by the Quebec Department of Sustainable Development, are summarized in Table 1. These results were obtained through rigorous scientific testing and clearly illustrate the ability of the DaguaFlo solution to deliver top-quality drinking water that exceeds Quebec’s stringent regulatory standards.

*These parameters represent the worst water conditions under which the DaguaFlo-UMF and IV technologies were tested. They are not the maximum limits these technologies can attain. Complete and detailed technical assessment sheets issued to Dagua by the Quebec Committee on Drinking Water Treatment Technologies are available on the official website of the Quebec Department of Sustainable Development. Disinfection logs
Given that 100% of the disinfection logs are achieved using ONLY membrane filtration and ozone, the DaguaFlo process does not require UV lamps, for significant savings in operating costs (e.g., no replacement of UV lamps). Moreover, chlorination logs do not have to be compiled in the overall totals. Because no chlorine contact time is required, the size of the treated water reservoir can be greatly reduced.
